IFW Insight Pro provides many great features:
- Search – IFW Insight Pro includes several search-related features including:
- Correspondence Filtering – IFW insight Pro allows you to narrow your search results by correspondence type. If you're looking for information within a specific type of document (e.g. Arguments/Amendments, Affidavits, Appeal Briefs, Rejections) this feature allows you to to home in on that information very quickly. - Keyword Highlighting – IFW Insight Pro allows you to identify terms that you would like to see highlighted within search result excerpts. Highlighting these terms allows you to quickly identify documents that are most relevant to your query.
- Upload – IFW Insight Pro allows you to upload and share locally stored IFW documents. Uploaded IFW documents are automatically processed to make them searchable via the IFW Insight Pro Search interface. Sharing IFW documents improves the search experience for you and other users of the system. (Please note, only IFWs associated with published applications/patents may be uploaded).
- Download – IFW Insight Pro allows you full download capability across the site. You can download full IFW documents and specific correspondence documents. Access to the "3-page" preview feature is also included. This enables you to quickly determine the relevancy of a search result to your search query. Documents are made available for download in .PDF form.
- Collaboration – IFW Insight includes several collaboration features including:
- Unique URLs: A unique public web page is created for each IFW document added to the IFW Insight database. This unique web page includes a link to the associated IFW PDF document and is accessible to both subscribed and non-subscribed users of the system. After uploading an IFW document, a user can easily share the document with anyone who has access to a web browser. Practically, when needing to collaborate with a colleague, you can simply e-mail or post a hyperlink to this unique page instead of attaching a typically very large IFW PDF document.
- Commenting - IFW Insight allows users of the system to add comments to these public web pages. A comment could be added, for example, to let other users know that a particular IFW provides a good illustration of overcoming a specific type of rejection. These comments are also searchable via the IFW Insight search interface. Both subscribed and non-subscribed may add comments however, the process of adding a comment is easier for subscribed users when logged in.
